Missions

The Bible tells of a great romantic adventure involving God, the Creator, and His creation, the nations of the earth. God has been in pursuit of every people group on the planet since the beginning. God also extends an invitation to the ones He finds. God says, "Join me in this pursuit!" We said, "Yes!"

Currently, we have accepted God's invitation to join Him in taking the awesome news of Christ in these ways: First, through an organization called "Grace Mission," with a focus for us in Oaxaca, Mexico. Secondly, we have sent out a family, the Schroeders, to New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  They are able to practically encourage and help train young men and women for every day Christian living and lifelong missions work.  We are also involved in supporting church planting efforts through the Berean Fellowship here in the states.
GBC is seeking committed attendees to form a Missions Team with a desire to lead the Body in staying connected to the missions ventures we are led to support.

The Missions Team Purpose: The missions team will exist to bridge the gap between our local body and our mission relationships; and to do legwork that gives thorough recommendations to the elders for wise decisions to be made concerning missions.
