History of Our Church

Frontier Bible Church began in the summer of 1996 with the first services being held in charter members' homes. That November the church was approved and accepted as the 55th church in the Berean Fellowship of Churches and the name was changed to Frontier Berean Fellowship. A room was rented at Towers West Lodge to establish a single, known location for inviting others. Sunday morning services were conducted by the men of the church and visiting Berean pastors until Pastor Bill Koester was called to full-time service here in June of 1998. Lakeway Professional Center was our home from June of 1999 through June of 2004 and now we are grateful to be at 4000 S. Garner Lake Road - a building and location with much potential for ministry.

Pastor Bill Koester and his family felt God lead them to Cheyenne, WY to pursue other ministry opportunities in Aug. 2009.  From Aug. 2009 through Sept. 2010 GBC was led and ministered to on Sunday mornings by the faithful men of our Leadership Team.

October 2010-God recently blessed us with an Interim Pastor for the next 6 months. We are very excited to have Gerald Polmateer and his wife, Julie, with us as we continue seeking God in how we can impact Gillette for His Glory!
